We thought carefully about this. Here is how we got there.
Priced for real families, not education budgets
The family this product is built for is not spending freely. They are managing a household on one income or stretched-thin two incomes. We wanted a price that is genuinely accessible without being so low that the product feels disposable.
The time saved is worth multiples of this
If Homeschool Managed saves you 30 minutes per day of mental load, replanning, and chasing kids down, that is over 180 hours per year. $12 a month for 180 hours of relief is less than a dollar an hour. We think that is more than fair.
One price covers your whole household
No per-child fees. Six kids or one kid, the price is the same. We think family tools should work for families with more than one child without punishing you for it.
We are not building a venture-backed unicorn
This is a product built by a homeschool mom for homeschool families. The goal is a tool that is genuinely useful, priced so families can actually afford it, and sustainable enough to keep improving. $12 lets us do that.
Pricing questions
Is beta actually free? What is the catch?
Yes, actually free. No credit card required. No trial that converts automatically. Beta is free because we are building this with real families and your experience is genuinely valuable to us. When paid plans launch, you will be notified and you choose what to do next. Nothing happens without you.
What happens to my data when beta ends?
Everything stays. Your brain dumps, your student profiles, your settings, your history, all of it carries over when you move to a paid plan. You do not start over.
Can I change plans after I start?
Yes, any time. You can move between monthly, 6-month, and annual whenever it makes sense for your family. Monthly plans cancel any time with no fees.
How is the founding family rate different from the annual plan?
The standard annual plan is $120 per year. The founding annual rate is $99 per year and that rate is locked in permanently regardless of future pricing. The founding monthly is $9 vs the standard $12, and the founding 6-month is $49 vs $65. If we raise prices in the future, founding families are protected. Standard plan customers are not. That is the difference.
What if it does not work for my family?
During beta, you are not paying anything. After beta, monthly plans cancel whenever you want with no fees. If something is not working, we want to hear it. Email us at info@homeschoolmanaged.com. We are in beta precisely because we are still building and your experience shapes what gets fixed next.
